Lent Prayer 16

disappointments come when

least expected, over hopes

and plans much

anticipated

the readjusting of directions

the unwinding of feelings

can leave defeat in

the wake.

but then again they are

a freeing from false

roads that would have

led astray.

may I find in their release

the space to find

pathways that

are true.
