cottonwood fairy dust – June 15

6.15

cottonwood fairy dust drifts

in the air, seeds popping

exuberance onto porches,

streams burgeoning in the

late day sun.

children with noses pressed

upon life’s candy store window

suddenly noticing

the open door.
