skyframe – November 14

11.14

nests dot the skyframe, treetops

gone bare but not barren. life

exudes, sways, hides high and

unbidden from below.

 

the sun bears off my coat, a

twist of fate in the November day,

unexpected smiles and warming

between us.

 

where will we walk in the days to

come, when winter breaches the

best intentions amidst cold that

bites to the bone.

 

no matter, a day at a time. we

find places and spaces for

lovliness.
