pink oxford sounds – November 7

11.7.2014

soul anchoring music

warms the air around

us, fingers moving on

laptops

her pink oxford shirt

wrinkles just right

the cat leaning close

on big brown

my soul eases,

gazing across

to caress the hand

that rises to her

cheek.

play on saxophone,

piano, bluesy sounds.

sing our togetherness

in the night.
