snow upon snow builds

into banks of ice for

cars to bounce off of,

if there is room enough

in the shriven

streets

what does God have

to tell us to understand

that we are misusing

the creation we were

given dominion

over

like the buffalo and

carrier pigeons that

we believed went on

forever so we could

kill them with

impunity.

the science speaks

words of how it works,

prophecies through

visions that we have

been given the ability

to learn

another set of eyes and

ears for those who eyes

and ears to see and

hear, or not for those

who hearts have

hardened

like Pharoahs in

modern deserts

not hearing the

warnings of a

red tide

coming.
