borders – April 14

4.14.2015

thin like a rapier

sharp as steel

hawk nosed

and young

 

we talk across

borders of

business and

youth

 

wandering voices

striking fire

and spark yet

opaque

 

how do generations

hear one another

when texts have

changed their meaning.
