a good ache – April 27

4.27.2014

rake tines pull back

at muscles unused

since winter’s pall

 

pine needle piles

aerating the ground

beneath

 

while warm winds

open cells and call

forth a keenness

 

a good ache borne

of honest labor tugs

the heart forward.
